Users with the 'GER Delete' role are able to delete GERs with any state (for example: In-Prep, Pending Approval, Approved and Returned). Users with the 'GER Submit' role can delete the 'In-Prep' and 'Returned' GERs that they have created.
Once logged in as a regular user (with the ‘GER Delete’ role assigned), you will find the 'Delete' button available at the bottom of the GER. After clicking on the Delete button, you will be asked for confirmation at the next page. Enter your comments in the ‘Reason for Deletion’ field and click on the ‘Yes’ button at the bottom to confirm the deletion.
Please also note that, our system is designed not to remove any form once it is entered. That is, the GER form will be in ‘Deleted’ status, but you can still search and find the form in the system in view-only mode. In order to view deleted GER forms, you may click on the 'Search' link available in the General Event Reports section of your FirstPage. On the 'GER Search' page, select (check-mark) ‘Deleted’ in the Status field. The search results will then display only the deleted GERs.
