Dear Users,
Therap is pleased to bring to you Version 8.5 of Therap Applications. With this release made on October 11, 2009, the following enhancements have been included to the system:
Billing
- Service Authorizations can be created for either Professional or Institutional claims.
- Billing Data created against Service Authorizations of Professional type can be added to Professional claims.
- Billing Data created against Service Authorizations of Institutional type can be added to Institutional claims.
- Users will now find separate sections for Professional and Institutional claims on their FirstPage/Dashboard.
- There is a new Field in Billing Data called Revenue Code. Billing Data made against services that are linked to Service Authorizations of Institutional claim type will have this field.
- Services can be linked to Institutional Claim templates. When creating Institutional claims, this link will be used to attach Billing Data with claims.
- Revenue code will be automatically carried to Billing Data generated from Attendance if the mapping between Revenue code and Attendance options are defined in Attendance Type.
- Users can now manually change the status of Professional claims.
There is a new Button called "Mark as Billable" which can be used to change the status of a non-editable claim to Billable. Once changed to Billable, users will see a new section for manually updating the status of a claim. - Users can now enter Billable units of up to 5 digits in Billing Data.
ISP Program
Once an ISP Program has been approved, the 'Maximum Number of Times a Day' field can now be increased if required.
The limit for the Maximum Number of Times a Day field on the ISP Program has been increased to 50.
When ISP Data Search Results are exported to Excel,
- ISP Data will be sorted by Data Collection Date and Begin Time, by default.
- Users will find a newly added ‘Location’ column.
General Event Reports (GER)
Maryland Incident Report: the state specific incident reporting form for Maryland has been added to the GER section.
Individual Data Form (IDF)
Mailing Contact field - For the ‘Contact’ section of the IDF, a new 'Mailing Contact' field has been added. Selecting this option will identify the contact address where any mail regarding the individual has to be forwarded.
Health Tracking
Appointments Consultation Form: The list of 'Current Medications' will pull the 'Route', 'Form of Dosage', 'Comments' and other important fields from the Medication History. Also, an individual's date of birth will also be shown.
General
For Cross Providers, under the Child Provider User Privilege page, Individual names are now listed by Last Name, First Name: Individual ID.
