The Incident Report (IR) and Medication Error Report (MER) applications have been combined in the General Event Reports (GER) application to ensure wider features and flexibility. Users can record multiple related events such as injury, medication error, death, and restraint among others. Common information on all event types needs to be entered only once.
To allow the greatest amount of flexibility there are separate Submit, Approve, Review, and View roles for each event type. Users with the appropriate roles can create, approve, review, view, and delete these reports.
