Physician Information

CCHIT requires to maintain a directory which contains identifiers required for Licensed Clinicians. These identifiers are for physicians who are users of Therap. Physicians who are external to the organization are not included in this list. They are listed in Shared Contact.

Administrators or Users with the "User" Administrative Role will be able to add NPI Number, UPIN Number, DEA Number and License Number for Physician users.

To add Physician Information, please follow the steps below:

1) Click on the Add Physician Information link under the Physician Information section from the FirstPage of the Admin mode or under the User section from the 'Admin' tab on your Dashboard.



2) Enter necessary information in the License Number, NPI Number, UPIN Number and DEA Number fields.

The NPI Number must be 10 digits long and the DEA Number should have 2 alphabets followed by 7 digits.

3) Click on the 'Save' button to save the information entered.

To view the list of Physicians, please follow the steps below:

1) Click on the Physician List link under the Physician Information section from the FirstPage of the Admin mode or under the User section from the 'Admin' tab on your Dashboard.



2) Clicking on the Physician List link will open the 'Physician List' page. The Physician List can be exported to excel by clicking on the Export to Excel link.To add physician information, you may also click on the Add Physician Information link.



3) Click on the Login Name of the user in the Physician List page to view the Physician Information of the user.



3) In the 'Physician Information' page, you can update the Information. Click on the 'Save' button to update the changes made.
