Administration Specific Enhancements


Individual Intake
  • The Individual section on the Admin FirstPage has been redesigned to Individual Intake.



  • In order to enter a new Individual, click on the New link under the Individual Intake section and fill in the necessary fields on the Individual Entry page.



User Privilege

  • The Assign User Privilege page has been rearranged to the Privilege page of the User that aggregates all Common Roles, SComm Roles, Module Roles, TMS Roles and Administrative Roles under the Privilege - Agency Wide and Administrative Roles drop-down menu.



  • The Caseload Based Super Roles can be assigned to the User from the Privilege - Caseload(s) drop-down menu on the Privilege page.

Administrative Roles

  • Admin Capabilities will now be known as Administrative Roles and these Administrative Roles can be assigned from the Access Control area on the Admin FirstPage.



  • Users with the User Privilege Administrative Role will be able to assign Administrative Roles to other users from the Administrative Roles area under the Privilege - Agency Wide and Administrative Roles drop-down menu of the User Privilege page.



  • New Administrative Roles - Super Admin, Reset Password and COIS Admin Administrative Roles have been introduced with the release of Therap 9.1. Existing Demographic Report Admin Capability has been renamed to Admin Report Administrative Role and Other Admin Capability has been renamed to Provider Setup Administrative Role.
Administrator of the Agency

  • Provider Administrator accounts have been redesigned as an Unified User account using which Administrators can use regular Therap modules and can access the administrative functionalities at the same time. When Administrators will login to the system they will be directed to their Admin FirstPage from where they can access all the administrative functionalities.



  • The necessary Administrative Roles will be applied to all existing Provider Administrators accounts. Only the existing Provider Administrator will be assigned with the new Super Admin Roles that distinguishes them from other regular Users. The Super Admin Role will allow them to access all Users with the Super Admin Role within the agencies and reset their passwords.

    Only Users with the Super Admin Role can assign the Super Admin and COIS Admin (applicable only for the COIS enabled Cross Providers) Roles to other Users.



  • Regular Users can view the list of Users within their agencies who have the Super Admin Role from the Super Admin List section on their Profile page.

Agency Wide Roles

  • Agency Wide Roles have been transferred to the Privilege page. Users with the User Privilege Administrative Role will be able to assign Agency Wide Roles to other users from the Module Roles and TMS Roles area under the Privilege - Agency Wide and Administrative Roles drop-down menu on the User Privilege page.

Common Roles and SComm Roles
  • User specific preferences such as 'Enable Search Beyond 13 Months', 'Enable Calendar', 'Enable GER Abuse/Neglect', 'Create Access on Discharged or Deceased Individuals' can now be set by assigning corresponding Roles from the Common Roles area under the Privilege - Agency Wide and Administrative Roles drop-down menu on the User Privilege page of the User.



  • Necessary SComm preferences for a User can now be selected from the the SComm Roles area under the Privilege - Agency Wide and Administrative Roles drop-down menu on the User Privilege page of the User.
Create New Super Role

  • Super Roles can now only be created for the Caseload based Roles on the Create New Super Role page.



  • New Caseload based Roles for the Individual Data module and for the IPOP and Safeguards module have been introduced.

    Previous IDF Roles will not be applicable for the IPOP and Safeguards module anymore. A User will need to be assigned with the appropriate IPOP and Safeguards Roles to access the IPOP and Safeguard module. To access the Individual Data module, User needs to have the Individual Data Roles.

    Existing Super Roles with the Individual Data Form (IDF) Roles will be automatically updated with respective Individual Data Roles and IPOP and Safeguards Roles.

Create New User

Particular are now set as required fields and need to be filled in while creating a new User.



Resetting Passwords

Administrators or users with the User Administrative Role will no longer be able to reset passwords from Users' Profile pages. Now, Administrators or users with the Reset Password Administrative Role can reset users' passwords from the new Change Password sections that are available in Admin Mode, on their FirstPage.



Administrators with the Super Admin Administrative Role along with the Reset Password Role can now reset password for other Administrators with Super Admin Roles, within their agencies.





Edit Shared Contact

Previously, all Users who were able to add a Shared Contacts, were able to update the details for the Shared Contacts. Now only the Users with the Shared Contact Administrative Role will be able to create, update or delete Shared Contacts, and Users without this Administrative Role will find Shared Contacts in Read-Only mode while adding them to forms.

Discontinue Custom Field

Previously Administrators were unable to remove Custom Fields if any data had been entered into that fields. Now Users with the Provider Setup Role Administrative Role will be able to discontinue Custom Fields and the discontinued fields will no longer be displayed on the Individual Data pages for the agency.

Provider Preference regarding T-Log

Administrators or Users with the Provider Setup Administrative Role can now set number of days before expiry to maximum 30 days for the T-Logs of Low, Medium, High priorities, from their Provider Preference page. Previously, they were able to set any number of days before expiry for T-Logs.

User Specific Enhancements


Individual Data

The previous Individual Data Form module has been redesigned as Individual Data. Users with the Individual Data Role will be able to access the Individual Data module from their FirstPage.



When an Individual is entered into the system, previously the Individual Data Form (IDF) used to be created for the new Individual. With the release of Therap 9.1, the Individual Data page is created for the new Individual which has two types of view - Individual Detail view and Individual Edit view.

Allergy Profile

Previously Users had to enter allergy information in the Allergies field under the Medical section on the Individual Data Form (IDF). Now, Users with the Medical Information Role will be able to access the new Allergy Profile link under the Individual Medical Information area on their FirstPage. Users can enter detailed allergy information for an Individual by using the Allergy Profile option.



The allergy information entered for an Individual in the Allergy Profile page will be displayed accordingly in the Individual Data page



Configure Notification Profile

In order to configure notification profile, the Notification Events for the Individual Data Form module has been redesigned according to the individual Data module.

Compose SComm message

While sending SComm messages to the Administrators of the agency, users were able to select the Administrators from the Provider Administrators category under User List tab. This has been updated and the User List tab now contains all the staff members' names in the agency, including the Administrators.



Users may quickly find their Administrators by selecting the Provider Administrator category under the User Title tab.

T-Log Updates

Users will no longer need to check/uncheck the Fast Search check-box. The system will now automatically perform Fast Search in the background. Users may search for T-Logs within 30 days from the current date by choosing the Read Status as 'Read' or 'Unread'. In order to search T-Logs beyond 30 days from the current date, Users will need to choose Read Status as 'Any' on the T-Log Search page.



Previously Users were able to update any T-Log. Now, Users are able to update only the T-Logs that are not older than 30 days.

ISP Data Search

Now Users will be able to find the 'Service Provider', 'Task', 'Score' and 'Group Count' columns in the Excel file by clicking on the Export to Detail Excel link located at the bottom of the ISP Data Search page.
